Polystyrene Foam Board / Foamcore

Polystyrene Foam Board - which is commonly used as printing board, photo frames, notice board, supporting board and mounting board. PS Foam Board or Foamcore Board, also known as printing board is widely used in printing industries as supporting board. Before flat-bed printing machine commonly available in market, PS Foam Board is laminated with the printed films / paper as supporting board. However, with current technology advancement, direct printing on Foam Board surface generally common in current printing industries.

Polystyrene Foam Board is naturally closed closed, hence provide the water proofing function. PS Foam Board is commonly available in 3 categories: 1. Plain PS Foamboard 2. HIPS Board 3. Paper Foam Board / Foamcore Board. The difference in 3 categories of PS Foamboard are the surface where:
Plain PS Foamboard - without surface lamination - Plain & Smooth Polystyrene Surface
HIPS Board - Laminated with High Impact Polystyrene Films which provide direct printing and strengten the PS Foam Board.
Paper Foam Board - Laminated with Paper which provide better direct printing effects and highest strength among 3 categories of PS Foam Board

Polystyrene Foam Board specification ranging from density 55kg/m3 - 200kg/m3 which is commonly available in White / Black Colour. However, Papaer Foam Board is laminated with 160g/m2 - 220g/m2 paper grade to support.
